Now in its 14th year, the 2000 Company Equipment Driver of the Year contest drew a record number of responses with over 250 nominations. A panel of independent judges will select the top ten winners from the field of 22 finalists.

Mitchell Favors of Arlington, GA is a 20-year veteran of Arnold Transportation. In his 43 years as a professional truck driver he has logged over 4.1 million miles without a chargeable accident and has never had a moving violation A moving violation is any violation of the law, committed by the driver of a vehicle, while it is in motion. Eldridge Graham of Fayetteville, NC is a 10-year veteran of Arnold Transportation. He has nearly 30 years of professional truck driving experience and has logged 3.2 million miles without a chargeable accident and has no moving violations as a truck driver.

The combined record of the two drivers is equivalent to making over 2,500 cross-country trips without an accident or getting a ticket for a moving violation.
