Arnold Palmer Golf Company and VOCO AG sign joint agreement for International Distribution.


OOLTEWAH, Tenn.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Aug. 2, 1996--The Arnold Palmer Golf Company, Ooltewah, Tenn. and VOCO VOCO Verbal Orders of the Commander

 AG, Luzern, Switzerland, have signed an agreement allowing VOCO SPORT to manufacture and distribute Palmer Golf Equipment and Hot-Z golf bags in the United Kingdom, Ireland, Europe and the Middle East, announced George H. Nichols, president and chief executive officer of The Arnold Palmer Golf Company.

The company will manufacture Palmer clubs in Manchester, England. Palmer representatives will oversee quality control to insure the products meet the company's standards for performance. The agreement became effective Aug. 1, 1996 for five years. Terms were not announced.
