Arnold Industries Appoints New President of Truckload Operations.LEBANON, Pa.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--July 23, 1998--Arnold Industries, Inc. (NASDAQ:AIND) has named Michael S. Walters president and CEO of Arnold Transportation Services Inc., its truckload subsidiary. Walters' truckload industry experience spans more than 20 years and includes responsibilities in operations, sales and finance. Walters has held senior management positions with responsibility for operations and sales with two large truckload carriers. He served most recently as vice president of operations for U.S. Xpress, a nationwide carrier with 1997 revenues of $433.8 million. Walters will be based at the Arnold Transportation operations headquarters in Jacksonville, Fla. E. H.
