Arnold Industries Announces Executive Appointments At Logistics Unit.

:AIND) announced today two executive appointments at Arnold Logistics.

Douglas B. Enck was named president of Arnold Logistics. Enck has been with the warehousing and logistics unit of Arnold Industries for 23 years and most recently served as vice president and general manager of Arnold Logistics. Enck is responsible for daily operations and the strategic development of distribution, warehousing, order fulfillment Order fulfillment (in BE also: order fulfilment) is in the most general sense the complete process from point of sales inquiry to delivery of a product to the customer. Sometimes Order fulfillment , returns processing and contract packaging services.

Lawrence W. Pechart, Jr. was named vice president of fulfillment services at Arnold Logistics. Prior to joining Arnold Logistics in 1994, Pechart was a distribution manager with IBM (International Business Machines Corporation, Armonk, NY, www.ibm.com) The world's largest computer company. IBM's product lines include the S/390 mainframes (zSeries), AS/400 midrange business systems (iSeries), RS/6000 workstations and servers (pSeries), Intel-based servers (xSeries) . Most recently Pechart served as director of fulfillment services at Arnold Logistics.

Pechart is responsible for managing development of eCommerce solutions for mail-order catalog and Internet based retailers. Fulfillment operations include electronic processing of orders, managing the Arnold Logistics call center, inventory control and consumer-direct shipping. Fulfillment services represent 50% of revenues at Arnold Logistics.
