Army exercise in Punjab ends.Byline: ANI Chandigarh, May 6 (ANI): The Indian Army concluded a major training exercise named 'Hind Shakti' today. Army Chief General Deepak Kapoor referred to the exercise as another step in army's continued endeavour to fine tune its strategy. He also complimented the KHARGA Corps for its operational readiness, which he said, was of an exceptionally high order. Lieutenant General TK Sapru also witnessed the 72-hour long exercise conducted in the Punjab plains from May 3. The exercise focused on pulling to test its premier corps, the KHARGA Corps, in conduct of offensive tasks.
