Army National Guard celebrates 367th Birthday.

Brigadier General David Greer, Deputy Commanding General, ARNG, USAFACFS and Colonel (P) Robert Bray, Deputy Assistant Commandant, ARNG, hosted an Army National Guard Birthday celebration on 12 December 2003 in the Vessey Wing of Snow Hall. Donna Ewing, representing the United States Field Artillery Association, was presented the Minuteman Award in recognition of the Association's dedication to professionalism, service to the soldier and commitment to customer service. Other presentations included the Legion of Merit medal awarded to COL Walter Cyrus, Executive Officer, DAC-ARNG; the book The National Guard: An Illustrated History of America's Citizen Soldier was dedicated to the Morris Swett Library in Snow Hall on behalf of the ARNG; and COL (P) James Cerrone was presented with I Am the Guard, a history of the ARNG. Following the presentations, SGM Thomas VanDevender, RC LNO, and MSG Charles Daniels, FAPO, were joined by BG Greer and COL (P) Cerrone for the cake cutting ceremony.
