U.S. Army Freedom Team Salute volunteer Ambassadors give community opportunity to say 'Thank You'

Volunteer Ambassadors representing a Secretary of the Army program called U.S. Army Freedom Team Salute, will invite patrons to choose a Thanksgiving Thanksgiving

The initiative, nationally recognized as "Make a Difference Day," was started by USA WEEKEND USA WEEKEND Magazine is a national publication distributed through more than 600 newspapers in the United States. It reaches 49 million [1] readers in 23 million households [2] every weekend.  Magazine and has been utilized by U.S. Army Freedom Team Salute as a way to get the community engaged with Soldiers overseas.

U.S. Army Freedom Team Salute initiative to collect Thanksgiving 'Thank You' cards written by supporters will be for one day only - tomorrow, Saturday October 24.

U.S. Army Freedom Team Salute was established in 2005 by the Secretary of the Army and the Army Chief of Staff to give the public the opportunity to thank all U.S. Army Veterans for their service by recognizing them with Commendations. The program also honors and recognizes the Parents, Spouses, Employers, and Supporters of Active Duty, Army Reserve and National Guard Soldiers. Over 2 million individuals have been honored hon·or
