Army Corps Extends Comment Period on Meadowlands Mills Final Environmental Impact Statement.

The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers announced today that it will extend the public comment period on the Final Environmental Impact Statement on the Meadowlands Mills permit application submitted by Empire, Ltd. to Oct. 3, 2002.

The 45 day extension is in response to a number of requests from the public for additional time to examine the document. Comments should be submitted in writing to:
