Armstrong Licenses Eventus Logistics Supply Chain Planning Software Through Numetrix.


NEWTON, Mass.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Feb. 9, 1998--

First U.S.-Based License of Eventus Logistics Products

Eventus Logistics, a leading provider of enterprise demand planning solutions, today announced that Armstrong World Industries Armstrong World Industries, Inc. is an international designer and manufacturer of floors, ceilings and cabinets. Based in Lancaster, Pennsylvania, Armstrong operates 39 plants in 10 countries and has approximately 13,000 employees worldwide.  Floor Products Division, a manufacturer of resilient See resiliency.  flooring, has licensed its software through Numetrix Ltd.

This represents Eventus' first U.S.-based licensing of its supply chain planning product.

Eventus has a history of success as a leading provider of enterprise demand planning solutions outside of the U.S. Its customers include subsidiaries of multinationals such as Nestle, CPC (1) (Central Processing Complex) An IBM mainframe that has two or more central processors (CPs) that share memory. It is the collection of processors, memory and I/O subsystems manufactured with a single serial number, typically all contained in one cabinet. , Teva and others. The company distributes its products in the U.S. through a partnership with Numetrix and a direct sales force.

The E-Plan product suite addresses demand planning, sales & operations planning and inventory planning areas. It is designed for demand-driven organizations with advanced forecasting requirements operating in dynamic markets.

This allows demand and supply planners to truly collaborate on a joint demand and supply plan.
