Armstrong Licenses Eventus Logistics Supply Chain Planning Software Through Numetrix.

First U.S.-Based License of Eventus Logistics Products

Eventus Logistics, a leading provider of enterprise demand planning solutions, today announced that Armstrong World Industries Floor Products Division, a manufacturer of resilient flooring, has licensed its software through Numetrix Ltd.

This represents Eventus' first U.S.-based licensing of its supply chain planning product.

Eventus has a history of success as a leading provider of enterprise demand planning solutions outside of the U.S. Its customers include subsidiaries of multinationals such as Nestle, CPC, Teva and others. The company distributes its products in the U.S. through a partnership with Numetrix and a direct sales force.

The E-Plan product suite addresses demand planning, sales & operations planning and inventory planning areas. It is designed for demand-driven organizations with advanced forecasting requirements operating in dynamic markets.

Key forecasting requirements for Armstrong World Industries included the ability to override histories that include exceptional events, powerful event planning capabilities for managing promotional events, the ability to create sales histories for new products based upon histories of similar products and the capability to include unlimited causal factors that impact forecasts. E-Plan met or exceeded all of these requirements.

Armstrong World Industries has now licensed both Eventus and Numetrix systems and will deploy them as a constraint-based forecasting system that will be integrated with its SAP enterprise resource planning system.
