The Armstrong plant, which is located in South Gate, Calif., is the eighth Armstrong plant to successfully "go live" with the jeTECH system. The announcement was made by Tim Heiden, vice president, project services, for jeTECH, a leading provider of labor-management systems and data-collection products to Fortune 1000 and other companies throughout North America.

"A feature-rich labor-management solution was key to our decision to choose jeTECH's labor-management software system to automate time-and-attendance processes at eight U.S. manufacturing plants with eight distinct sets of payroll rules for 3000-plus employees," explained Jim Wellendorf, Armstrong's general manager, information systems and technology building products operations. "Enterprise Labor satisfies the requirements of all eight locations and uploads the data into one central payroll system."

"Armstrong supervisors can now utilize the jeTECH system to more efficiently manage their crews." noted Chuck Kereczman, Armstrong's general manager, information systems and technology floor products operations.

"This leverage allows us to lower our total cost of ownership without sacrificing functionality."
