Armoured Enok kicks up dust.

German Company Armoured Car Systems (ACS) has introduced its new Enok light vehicle that is based on a Mercedes-Benz G chassis. Built through a joint effort with DaimlerChrysler, the Enok boasts a maximum total permissible weight of 5.4 tonnes with a one-tonne payload, is 4.5 metres long, 1.9 metres wide and has a fording height of 50 cm. A permanent four-wheel-drive system is pushed by a five-gear automatic drive train, itself fed by a 156-hp, five-cylinder diesel. Armoured Car Systems has given the Enok a fully armoured bulletproof body, and the vehicle seats between two and six persons and can be transported by a CH-53 helicopter.
