Armed raid at petrol station.


A ROBBER armed with a gun terrorised a worker at a Coventry petrol petrol: see gasoline.  station before fleeing with cash from the till.

 top, burst into the shop area at a BP garage in Ansty Road, Wyken, pointed a firearm at a member of staff and handed over a plain blue carrier bag, demanding money.

Cash from the till was put into the bag and the robber ran off.

The robbery took place between 6.30pm and 6.45pm on Monday.
