Later that month the car was auctioned off at the Barrett-Jackson Auto Auction, and sold for $130,000, with proceeds going to the Armed Forces Foundation. This year's installment hopes to generate even more funds, and help support military families suffering through difficult times. The construction of the latest Project American Heroes installment was completed in 118 days.
