The award presentation will be made at a gala dinner on Saturday, February 8, 2003, at the Hotel Inter-Continental Miami, 100 Chopin Plaza. The Sand in My Shoes Award, established in 1981, is presented to a volunteer who has made significant contributions to the South Florida area, demonstrating a deep love and commitment to this community as the best possible place in which to work and live. Codina is the founder and chairman of Codina Group, a Coral Gables-based real estate investment, development, construction, brokerage and property management firm.
