Arlon Announces Grand Opening of Suzhou, PRC, Manufacturing Facility.

SUZHOU, China -- Arlon Electronic Materials: At Grand Opening ceremonies held on October 24, 2006, Arlon announced official opening of a new Arlon manufacturing facility in Suzhou New District in the Peoples' Republic of China (PRC). This operation and our new company entitled "Arlon Material Technologies Co., Ltd." complements Arlon's longstanding operations in Delaware and California in the United States. The new China Company will manufacture specialty laminate and prepreg materials for the Printed Wiring Board industry. Products made at Arlon Material Technologies in Suzhou will include both Arlon thermosetting and thermoplastic (PTFE) circuit board materials and will serve a broad base of markets including PWB's for high performance, high temperature, microwave and RF applications.

According to Arlon President Bob Carini, "The variety of materials manufactured at Suzhou will broaden over time. With our new China operation we will be able to support our local and regional Asia customers, as well as our world-wide customer base."

Arlon has had operations within the PRC since June of 2004 when the Finishing Center (Arlon Materials for Electronics Suzhou, Ltd.) was opened. This fabrication service center has enabled Arlon to establish and develop customer relationships within the PRC. With the opening of Arlon Material Technologies manufacturing operation, the role of the Finishing Center will be expanded to include additional Arlon products to service existing and new local customers.

Among other dignitaries who attended the grand opening were Robert M. Carini, President, Arlon Electronic Materials, and William Lee, General Manager, Arlon Material Technologies, along with local officials from the PRC who have been involved in the process alongside of Arlon's people and many local and international customers.
