Arlington-Area Disaster Relief Drop-Off Point Announced.

Radio, TV, Web and print news outlets are encouraged to spread the news immediately that Emergisoft Plaza located at 524 E. Lamar in Arlington, Texas, is a quick and efficient drop-off point to get donations to the victims of Hurricane Katrina fast. Security guards will be accepting donated items beginning Wednesday morning, September 7, through Friday evening, September 16, M-F M-F Monday Through Friday  from 7:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Emergisoft Plaza is located across the street from the Texas Health Resources Tower on the north side of I-30.

Residents and individuals who work in the Arlington area are strongly encouraged to utilize this quick and easy drop-off point to get help to victims NOW! Volunteers are organizing all of the donated items and will be delivering directly to the families impacted by Hurricane Katrina.

More than 1,000 displaced individuals have arrived in Arlington from New Orleans New Orleans (ôr`lēənz –lənz, ôrlēnz`), city (2006 pop. 187,525), coextensive with Orleans parish, SE La., between the Mississippi River and Lake Pontchartrain, 107 mi (172 km) by water from the river mouth; founded  in the past four days and have lost all of their belongings. Your help is needed now. The Emergisoft Plaza drop-off point allows people the ability to drop off donated items before or after work or during their lunch break.
