, a member of the Photographic Society of America (PSA (Professional Services Automation) An information system designed to organize, track and manage all opportunities, work, resources, costs, revenues and invoices to improve the productivity and efficiency of the workforce. ) since 1957, passed away on November 10, 2007, in Kaysville Utah. Arland served PSA in many different capacities: past General Chairman of the Utah PSA Chapter Roundup; a commentator for PSA Pictorial Print Division Portfolios; and an active presenter of programs for many years. In the mid 70's he was very involved in educational programs and workshops for black & white photography, generously sharing his knowledge through lecturing, teaching and judging. In 1979, Armand was elected an Associate, followed by a Fellow of PSA in 1986 for his assistance to PSA and photographic groups in Utah and for photographic mastery as a top exhibitor in color and monochrome.

With exceptional artistry and technical skill in large monochrome prints, Arland received his EPSA designation in 2007. In International Exhibitions he had over 5,000 prints accepted through the years

Arland joined the Navy in November of 1943 and served during WWII. He was a lifetime honorary member at the Pin Hole Camera Club at Hill Air Force Base in Utah.

Many will miss him.
