Arkansas Venture Forum sets three workshops.

Arkansas (ärkăn`zəs, är`kənsô'), river, c.1,450 mi (2,330 km) long, rising in the Rocky Mts., central Colo.
 Venture Forum has set up three workshops to be held for companies that are seeking capital and would like to be considered for selection to present at the 2005 Arkansas Venture Conference set for May 1718 at The Peabody Peabody (pē`bədē, –bädē), city (1990 pop. 47,039), Essex co., NE Mass., a suburb of Boston, on the Danvers River; settled c.1633, inc. as South Danvers 1855, name changed 1868.  Hotel Little Rock.

The Jonesboro workshop will be held from 2-3:30 p.m. on Feb. 3 at the Jonesboro Regional Chamber of Commerce. The Little Rock workshop will be held on Feb. 10 from 2-3:30 p.m. at the Arkansas Capital Corporation Group's Little Rock office. The Fayetteville workshop will be held on Feb. 11 from 2-3:30 p.m. at the Innovation Center at the University of Arkansas' Arkansas Research and Technology Park.

Companies wishing to present at the conference do not have to attend a workshop but must submit an executive summary by Feb. 28. Guidelines guidelines,

Workshop participants can review the Arkansas Venture Conference executive summary template (1) A pre-designed document or data file formatted for common purposes such as a fax, invoice or business letter. If the document contains an automated process, such as a word processing macro or spreadsheet formula, then the programming is already written and embedded in the , discuss how to optimally prepare for success and discuss the benefits of becoming a presenting company. The selection committee will narrow the field of applicants to finalists who will be selected to make presentations at the conference. Each presenting company finalist will be partnered with a mentor Mentor, in Greek mythology
