Arkansas Gov. Huckabee says too many are 'spiritually disconnected'.

Kennedy told the crowd that America can and will soon be ruled by Religious Right values.

"I'm telling you, America is going to be changed," Kennedy declared on the conference's opening day.

The speakers at the conference argued that the nation was founded on their Christian values The term Christian values usually refers to the values the speaker feels represent those found in the teachings of Christ as described in parts of the United States.

U.S. Rep. Katherine Harris (R-Fla.) also made an appearance at the conference.

The Herald reported that during her speech, Harris praised Francis Schaeffer, a theologian who inspired the Religious Right movement. Harris said it was a turning point in her life when she studied under Schaeffer.

The Palm Beach Post reported that Harris told the conferees that she had "redirected my life to the Lord when I was only in the third grade" and that she was "blessed to be raised in a godly god·ly
