Arkansans Offered Online Property Tax Payments at www.accessArkansas.org as October 10th Filing Deadline Nears.

Paying personal property taxes just got easier for many citizens, thanks to the online property tax payment system now being offered to a growing number of Arkansas Arkansas, river, United States

The new service gives many Arkansas taxpayers the ability to pay their taxes 24 hours a day and seven days a week from the convenience of their homes.

The online property tax payment system is available through the end of the current property tax collection period on October October: see month.  10. The online property tax payment system is featured on the state of Arkansas' web site at www.accessArkansas.org as well as on participating county web sites.

, Benton, Washington, Pope, Randolph, and Craighead counties are the first to be able to use the new property tax payment system. Similar services are also being developed for Boone, Cleburne, and Sebastian counties. Eventually, citizens in all 75 Arkansas counties will be able to take advantage of online property tax payments.

Paying property taxes online in Arkansas takes less than five minutes, and users can print out a confirmation of their payment immediately. Visa, MasterCard, or Discover credit cards are accepted through the accessArkansas secure payment server. In addition, citizens can pay with eChecks, which is a secure method of debiting funds electronically from a checking account.

This new service was built and managed through a partnership between the county tax collector offices and the Information Network of Arkansas, which manages the official state website at www.accessArkansas.org.
