Arjuna Announces OEM Agreement With webMethods; Agreement Delivers Reliable Support for Web Services Transactions.

NEWCASTLE, England -- Arjuna Technologies, specialists in reliable middleware, and webMethods, Inc., a leading business integration software company, today announced an OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) The rebranding of equipment and selling it. The term initially referred to the company that made the products (the "original" manufacturer), but eventually became widely used to refer to the organization that buys the products and  agreement in which webMethods has licensed the Arjuna Transaction Service Suite to provide a solution for customers to support distributed transactions across Web services (1) Loosely, any online service delivered over the Web. Such usage appears in articles from non-technical sources, but not in IT-oriented publications, because definition #2 below describes the correct use of the term. . webMethods will make it easier for customers to deploy Web services transactions within their existing infrastructures by embedding the Arjuna XML XML

ArjunaTS provides the critical coordination infrastructure required to support business transactions that span multiple Web services, ensuring that the consistency of the overall business transaction is maintained even in the event of occasional component failures. The XML Transaction Service is fully standards compliant; the programming interfaces are based on the Java API for XML Transactioning (JAXTX) and the product supports the WS-AtomicTransaction and WS-BusinessActivity specifications.

"The OEM agreement with webMethods is a significant step in the adoption of Web services transactional technology," said David Ingham, CTO (Chief Technical Officer) The executive responsible for the technical direction of an organization. See CIO and salary survey. , Arjuna Technologies. Early adopters require infrastructure providers to integrate transactioning solutions now, even though the standards are still being finalized. As webMethods has found, Arjuna's XML Transaction service isolates them from any standards flux, providing a stable solution for their customers moving forward."

As an internationally renowned Centre of Excellence in reliable middleware Arjuna continues to innovate. The recent GA release of the Arjuna Transaction Service Suite 4.0 merges the XML Transaction Service with Arjuna's industry proven J2EE (Java 2 Platform, Enterprise Edition) A platform from Sun for building distributed enterprise applications. J2EE services are performed in the middle tier between the user's machine and the enterprise's databases and legacy information systems.  transaction technology. By doing so, ArjunaTS helps to support "multimodal Two or more modes of operation. The term is used to refer to a myriad of functions and conditions in which two or more different methods, processes or forms of delivery are used. On the Web, it refers to asking for something one way and receiving the answer another; for example requesting  transaction processing" thereby enabling reliable transactions to span from front-end e-commerce applications to back office systems and beyond the enterprise firewall to business partners - across any system, anywhere in the world. ArjunaTS can handle high volumes of transactions across diverse middleware environments - supporting transactions across CORBA (Common Object Request Broker Architecture) A software-based interface from the Object Management Group (OMG) that allows software modules (objects) to communicate with each other no matter where they are located on a private network or the global , J2EE and Web services.
