Recently, the AeA (formerly the American Electronics Association The American Electronics Association (now known as AeA) is a nationwide non-profit trade association that represents all segments of the technology industry in the United States. ) released its Cyberstate Report that announced Arizona's high-tech industry has added 800 jobs to its economy that are high paying, with the average Arizona technology worker earning $67,600 in 2005. As the number of job openings continues to rise, it becomes even more difficult for companies to find the skill set needed from employees because of the shortage of qualified technology workers.

"Companies of all sizes continue to have problems recruiting highly qualified and educated individuals to work for them, whether those individuals are foreign or domestic.
