Arizona Technology Council Hires New Director of Membership Services.


TEMPE, Ariz. -- The Arizona Technology Council announces Brian Sherman as their new director of membership services. In this role, Sherman is responsible for aligning policies and programs with the business needs of member companies, ensuring a return on their investment in the Council, and engaging the membership in realizing our vision of developing Arizona as a world-class center for technology innovation and talent.

Sherman brings to this position seven years of public service and economic development experience where he was dedicated to cultivating and attracting cutting-edge industries, and the very best employment opportunities for the citizens of Arizona.

Most recently, he served in the State Office of Innovation & Technology as the program manager for technology commercialization. Here Sherman was privileged to help technology startups leverage very modest state funding into millions of dollars of federal investment in risky early-stage research and development. He also served as staff liaison to the Governor's Council on Innovation and Technology.
