They will choose the top three winning entries from each grade during the Fair. Awards will be presented during a luncheon. Winners from each grade level will receive $1,000, as will their teachers, plus they will also demonstrate their winning inventions on a local television program. Second place winners will receive $400, and third place winners will receive $200. Additionally, STMicroelectronics will award one student $1,000 for an innovative environmental project; Avnet will award $1,000 for an innovative computer science project; and the Dairy Council and Arizona Milk Producers will award another $1,000 for an agricultural technology project.
