Aristo Technology, Inc. announced today that David S. Reed has joined the company as Vice President of Marketing.

Reed combines a deep technical background -- including time spent as a custom LSI designer for the computer industry -- with more than sixteen years of design automation experience.

Reed came to Cadence through the acquisition of Cooper & Chyan Technology, where he was Director of Marketing for IC Craftsman. In addition to his responsibilities at Aristo, Reed serves on the board of directors of RAPID, the IP industry association. He holds a BSEE from Lehigh University.
