His appointment signals a major thrust by Ariel to solidify and extend its European sales and distribution channel while establishing itself as a major supplier of access equipment to the pre-press industry and technical OEMs. Markert will coordinate operations in Ariel offices located in Germany and France. He will report directly to Jay Atlas, president and chief executive officer of Ariel Corp.
