Wachtel, 69, has served as a consultant to Argyle Security since the Company's inception in 2005. His distinguished career in the security industry also includes a 22-year tenure at Pittway Corp. (later Honeywell Security), with 13 years as Vice President of International Marketing. Pittway was the parent company of Ademco, which operated in the intrusion, access control and video sectors in the security industry. While at Pittway, Wachtel headed the Latin American Division and global international product development and marketing, helping to grow the international business from $20 million to $300 million.
