Arguss Holdings Announces Two Acquisitions and the Proposed Acquisition of Aspen International Cable Corporation.


ROCKVILLE, Md.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--September 30, 1999--

Arguss Holdings recently purchased two telecommunications construction companies and entered into a Letter of Intent detailing its proposed acquisition of Aspen International Cable Corporation (Aspen). In the past few months, Arguss has purchased Longnecker Communications Corp., a telecommunications construction company located near Seattle, WA that specializes in aerial construction, and Fiber Optic Services, Inc. located near Tampa, FL that specializes in fiber splicing splicing /splicĀ·ing/ (spliĀ“sing)

 services. Aspen, headquartered in Salem, OR, provides telecommunications design and engineering services to major telecommunications customers on a national level. All acquisitions are made for a combination of cash and securities.
