In the past few months, Arguss has purchased Longnecker Communications Corp., a telecommunications construction company located near Seattle, WA that specializes in aerial construction, and Fiber Optic Services, Inc. located near Tampa, FL that specializes in fiber splicing splicing /splic·ing/ (spli“sing) 1. the attachment of individual DNA molecules to each other, as in the production of chimeric genes. 2.
