Argus acquires coal, air and rail newsletters.


Energy Argus Inc. has acquired six newsletters formerly published by Washington, D.C.-based Fieldston Publications Inc. from the firm Hagler Bailly Inc.

The newly acquired newsletters, which will continue to be produced by the same editorial staff under the same names, are: Coal Daily, Air Daily, Coal Transportation Report, Clean Air Compliance Review, Rail Business, and Intermodal Business.

Energy Argus is a member of the Petroleum Argus Group, a provider of energy and transportation news and analysis with offices in Singapore, Moscow, London, New Jersey, Washington, D.C., and Houston.

Petroleum Argus was founded in 1970 and is owned by the family of the founder, Jan Nasmyth, and its employees.
