Argosy Education Group Announces Retirement of President Harold O'Donnell.

: ARGY), the nation's largest for-profit provider of doctoral-level programs, announced today that its president, Harold J. O'Donnell, Ph.D., will retire at the end of February 2000. Dr. O'Donnell will remain a director of the corporation.

An intensive nationwide search now is underway for Dr. O'Donnell's successor, said Michael C. Markovitz, Ph.D., Argosy chairman and founder. "We are seeking a seasoned executive with the skills and drive to build on Argosy's achievements and help take the company to the next level of success." Dr. Markovitz added that he will serve as interim president if a successor has not been named at the time of Dr. O'Donnell's retirement.

Dr. O'Donnell was named president of the American Schools of Professional Psychology, Argosy's largest school group, in January 1992 and served in that capacity until he was named president of Argosy Education Group and an Argosy director in February 1999.
