Argentina said that German-U.S. automaker Daimler-Chrysler will invest US$50 million in its facilities in the country over the next two years.


ARGENTINA Argentina (ärjəntē`nə, Span. ärhāntē`nä), officially Argentine Republic, republic (2005 est. pop. 39,538,000), 1,072,157 sq mi (2,776,889 sq km), S South America.  said that German-U.S. automaker Daimler-Chrysler will invest US$50 million in its facilities in the country over the next two years. Investments will help the company produce new trucking models for export to global markets.
