Argentina and Bolivia signed an accord to boost the flow of natural gas between the two countries.


ARGENTINA Argentina (ärjəntē`nə, Span. ärhāntē`nä), officially Argentine Republic, republic (2005 est. pop. 39,538,000), 1,072,157 sq mi (2,776,889 sq km), S South America.  and Bolivia Bolivia (bōlĭv`ēə, Span. bōlē`vyä), officially Republic of Bolivia, republic (2005 est. pop. 8,858,000), 424,162 sq mi (1,098,581 sq km), W South America.  signed an accord to boost the flow of natural gas between the two countries. The agreement will assure the supply of gas to Argentina from Bolivia through next December December: see month.  by boosting the volume shipped to 6.5 million cubic feet a day from 4 million.
