Argentina Gold Reports on Carrizal and Vicuna Pampa Projects.VANCOUVER, British Columbia--(BUSINESS WIRE)--June 12, 1996--Argentina Gold Corp.(VSE See DOS/VSE. VSE - Virtual Storage Extended : ARP) ARGENTINA GOLD CORP. (the "Company") is pleased to report the latest developments on its Vicuna vicuna a species of wild llama. A small compact form, fast disappearing because of uncontrolled hunting. Their fur is much in demand for heavy fabrics. Called also Lama vicugna (syn. Vicugna vicugna). Pampa Pampa (păm`pə), city (1990 pop. 19,959), seat of Gray co., extreme N Tex. This cow town on the Panhandle plains still ships cattle and wheat and packs meat, but the discovery of oil and gas has made it an industrial center with refineries and copper-gold project and its Carrizal gold project. These properties are part of a large portfolio of potentially outstanding gold properties with some of the most advanced exploration projects in Argentina. The Company has received some promising news from its field crew on the VICUNA PAMPA PROJECT. A strong IP anomaly has been located in an area of pervasive alteration within a tertiary caldera. The IP/resistivity survey was conducted with a wide line spacing and once the assay results for copper from rock samples are received, the survey will continue in greater detail. As preliminary results are encouraging, the Company is considering a drilling program to commence in the third quarter of this year. At the CARRIZAL GOLD PROJECT, arsenopyrite veinlets carrying gold values as high as 13 g/tonne Au were followed up by trench sampling which showed gold-silver anomalies. Subsequent IP/resistivity surveys indicated superimposed su·per·im·pose tr.v. su·per·im·posed, su·per·im·pos·ing, su·per·im·pos·es 1. Results from a five borehole reverse circulation drilling program identified structures assaying 3.41 g/tonne Au over 2 metres and widespread areas of lower grade values (0.3 g/tonne Au). Work is continuing in order to define the relation of a hidden porphyry, mostly suboutcropping, with the sedimentary hosted vein-type gold associated with its cupola. ON BEHALF OF THE BOARD "J.
