Peltier, chairman, announced the action, approved by the bank's board of directors at the meeting held Aug. 20, 1996. The dividend of $.13 per share is payable on Sept. 13, 1996, to shareholders of record on Aug. 30, 1996. The $.13 per share dividend represents a 4% increase over the dividend paid in the same period of 1995.
