("the Company") is pleased to announce results from further underground sampling at the Pierina project in north central Peru. Two tunnels are currently being driven to gain information on the geology and mineralization Mineralization The process by which the body uses minerals to build bone structure. Mentioned in: Rickets mineralization, n the bioprecipitation of an inorganic substance. of the deposit at depth. Previous results confirmed grades to 54 meters averaging 4.62 g/t gold. The most recent results from the first and second tunnel are as follows. -0- TUNNEL #1 Tunnel Depth Grade 54 - 56 meters 4.12 g/t gold 56 - 58 meters 3.06 g/t gold 58 - 60 meters 3.36 g/t gold 60 - 62 meters 4.20 g/t gold Weighted average 3 - 62 meters 4.49 g/t gold. Weighted average silver grade 3 - 62 meters is 119 g/t. The above grades are consistent with a pit near the entrance to the tunnel which assayed 3.60 g/t gold in bedrock. The tunnel is currently at 71 meters, or approximately 50 meters below the surface, and appears to be continuing in mineralization. The Company plans to extend this tunnel as far as possible with the equipment currently on site. A second tunnel has been started in the main mineralized min·er·al·ize v. min·er·al·ized, min·er·al·iz·ing, min·er·al·iz·es v.tr. 1. To convert to a mineral substance; petrify. 2. Road construction has commenced and the first 1.8 kilometers of the five needed for drill access have been completed. It is estimated that the road will be finished within three weeks and that drilling will commence in late April or early May.
