Arepa.com and Motorola to Co-Market Broadband Content Via Cable Modems to Consumers.


CHICAGO--(BUSINESS WIRE)--June 14, 1999--

It expresses a convergence of will between the parties, indicating an intended common line of action and may not imply a legal commitment. , to co-market Arepa.com's new broadband family entertainment and education service with Motorola's CyberSURFR(R) cable modems. In addition, the two companies have agreed to work together to ensure that broadband network operators can deploy Arepa.com's new service on networks using Motorola's market leading cable modem technology.

Arepa.com and Motorola will work together to ensure mutual customers (primarily broadband cable operators) can deploy Arepa.com's services on networks using Motorola's cable modem technologies, as efficiently and with as robust functionality as possible. Operators may view a live demonstration of Arepa.com's service carried over Motorola's cable modem system at this week's NCTA NCTA National Cable & Telecommunications Association (fka National Cable Television Association)
