Area football teams set for quarterfinals.

Fourth-ranked Sheldon, one of two unbeaten teams left in the Class 4A state high school football playoffs, heads to Hillsboro on Friday for a quarterfinal contest against Pendleton.

The Midwestern League champion Irish (10-0) take on the Buckaroos (10-1), the No. 2 seed out of the Intermountain Conference, at 5:30 p.m. in the first game of a doubleheader at Hillsboro Stadium Facility
