WHAT: Local high-school students compete for cash prizes, as
they present their business plans to prominent members
of the local business community in the 3rd annual
Project ECHO business plan competition.
WHO: 15 student teams from nine participating schools
including: Beverly Hills High School, Costa Mesa High
School, John Muir High School, John Marshall
Fundamental Secondary School, Norwalk High School,
Santa Monica High School, San Pedro High School,
Santa Susana High School, and South Pasadena High
School.
WHEN: 1:30 p.m., Saturday, Feb. 24.
WHERE: UCLA Anderson School of Management, Korn Hall.
BACKGROUND: Project ECHO provides business education to K-12
students in Los Angeles County, encouraging hands-on,
experiential learning through the development and
support of on-campus businesses.
