In doubles, Brent Kingzett and George Murphy George Lloyd Murphy (July 4, 1902–May 3, 1992) was an American dancer, actor, and politician.

He was born in New Haven, Connecticut of Irish Catholic extraction, and attended Yale University.

Class 5A state championships

No. 2-seeded Carl Brehm and Chase Thomet of Churchill will meet top-seeded Alex Walentin and Cody Kohlmoss of Summit in the doubles championship match today at the Tualatin Hills Tennis Center.

The Lancer duo defeated Riley Tronson and Ryan Coe of Mountain View 5-7, 6-3, 7-6 (4) in the quarterfinals and downed No. 3 seed Cody Levien and Clark Lawton of Corvallis 6-3, 6-3 in the semifinals.

Zach Lantz and Matt Walker of Churchill lost to Dustin Borst and Alex Ordeman of West Albany 7-5, 3-6, 6-3 in a quarterfinal match.

In singles, No. 3 seed Chris Wiechert of Churchill beat Chris McBride of Dallas 6-4, 6-2 in the quarterfinals but fell 6-1, 6-0 to No. 2 Alex Rovello of Cleveland in the semifinals.

Ben Korteweg of Churchill was forced to retire against Michael Baumgartner of West Albany, and Thurston's Jeff Forrest fell to Kevin Wong of Crescent Valley 8-2 in consolation singles

In consolation doubles, Churchill's Hank Brehm and Mathias Newell defeated Suresh Kumar and Nathan Sany of Cleveland 8-2 in the quarterfinals before losing 8-3 to No. 3 Jake Troychak and Ryotaro Akashi of Sherwood in the semifinals.

Class 4A state championships

Marist's Josh Guckenberger and Hayden Rear, the No. 2 seed in the doubles bracket, qualified for today's semifinals with a pair straight-sets victories during the opening rounds of the OSAA OSAA Oregon School Activities Association

Girls

Class 6A state championships

Top-seeded Megan Moore of Jesuit and teammate Rika Mehndiratta will face off for the singles title today at the Tualatin Hills Tennis Center.

Moore defeated No. 3 Yvette Ly of Centennial 7-6 (4), 6-2 and Mehndiratta downed No. 4 Danielle Farmer of Grant 6-4, 6-2 in the semifinals.

Its members disguised themselves in the dress of women.  and Markie Westwood of Lake Oswego, the No. 1 seeds, will face No. 2 Clare Dodge and Steffanie Mortera of Jesuit for the doubles title.

Maguire and Westwood beat Kristen Wong and Ellen Mader of Jesuit 6-0, 6-1 and Dodge and Mortera defeated Jesuit's Haley Mooney and Leslie Mallory 6-0, 6-0 in the semifinals.

Class 5A state championships

No. 2 seed Kody Jo Jaffarian and Steffie Ballman of Churchill beat Crook County's Molly Robinson and Krissi Kemper 6-3, 4-6, 6-2 in the quarterfinals and No. 4 Lauren Wilk and Eleanor Crumme of Crescent Valley 6-1, 6-0 in the semifinals to reach the doubles title match at the Tualatin Hills Tennis Center.

Jaffarian and Ballman will face No. 1-seeded Richole Berger and Rebecca Berger of Hermiston in the final. The Hermiston duo downed teammates Chelsey Vandewal and Alison Hawman 6-1, 6-0 in the semifinals.

In singles, Alyssa Adkisson of Churchill lost 7-5, 6-1 to Sherwood's Katie Patterson in the quarterfinals. Top-seed Laura Krull of Summit will meet No. 2 Allison Bostrom of Crescent Valley for the singles title.

Willamette's Sarah Gregg beat Whitney Lewis Whitney Lewis (born August 13, 1985, in Corpus Christi, Texas and raised in Oxnard, California) is an American football wide receiver. He is entering his senior season at the University of Northern Iowa.  of Thurston 8-3 in the consolation quarterfinals before losing 8-5 to Barb Snecker of Mountain View in the semifinals.

Class 4A state championships

North Bend senior Kelcy McKenna won both of her first-day matches 6-0, 6-0 to advance to the semifinals of the OSAA Class 4A/3A/2A/1A girls tennis championships at the Eugene Swim and Tennis Club.

McKenna, seeking her fourth state title, defeated Marist's Sarah Hatten in the quarterfinals. McKenna will play Taft's Kimberly Knight in today's semifinals.

Junction City's Kristin Wiley beat Umatilla's Elizabeth Lougee, 6-2, 6-2, in the first round before falling to Casey Schein of St. Mary's in the quarterfinals.

In doubles, top-seeded Luci DeLong and Evelyn Kaaen of Vale defeated Erin Iskra and Camille Reerslev of Junction City Junction City, city (1990 pop. 20,604), seat of Geary co., NE Kans., at the confluence of the Republican and Smoky Hill rivers; inc. 1859. The rail, trade, and processing center of an agricultural and dairy area, it grew as the supply point for nearby Fort Riley, , 4-6, 6-2, 6-4 in the quarterfinals.
