Are we proud? You bet! Chamber wins prestigious 'Caleidoscope of Culture' and 'Outstanding Chamber of Commerce' awards.

Make room on the trophy shelf! The Detroit Regional Chamber is the proud recipient of two more honors-the 2005 Caleidoscope of Culture Award from the Caleidoscope of Culture Foundation and the 2005 Outstanding Chamber of Commerce Award from the Michigan Chamber of Commerce Executives.

"We are extremely happy to be the recipient of these awards. It's nice to be recognized, and these awards confirm the Chamber's ongoing efforts to be a great place to work. We will continue to strive to make our work environment the best," said Michelle Hansel han·sel

The Chamber's continuing commitment to diversity was recognized with a second straight Caleidoscope of Culture Award, this year in the Nonprofit/Community category. In 2004, the Chamber was honored in the Human Resources category.

Judges cited the Chamber for its emphasis on meeting the needs of its diverse consumer base and its efforts to positively impact the population it serves. The fourth annual awards ceremony was held at the Fairlane Club in Dearborn.
