Are they Ferry similar?

A SURPRISE guest star made an appearance at Birmingham Press Club's Meet the Media night at the Radisson Hotel - in the shape of veteran singer Bryan Ferry.

Well, it was not exactly the Roxy Music Roxy Music is an English art rock group founded in the early 1970s by art school graduate Bryan Ferry (vocals and keyboards). The other members are Phil Manzanera (guitars), Andy Mackay (saxophone and oboe) and Paul Thompson (drums and percussion).  man, but a passable impersonator. Step forward, Birmingham Chamber of Commerce and Industry top man Jerry Blackett.

The chief executive may be a sober-suited business figure most of the time but, at heart, he's still a star-struck rock fan.

Jerry claims a tongue-in-cheek resemblance Resemblance may refer to:
  • Resemblance: as in "you have a resemblance to your brother" (In the case of twins) see analogy and similarity.
  • Resemblance nominalism
  • Ludwig Wittgenstein's family resemblances.
 to the Geordie rocker and even launched into a few bars of Virginia Plain to entertain guests.
