Q. Are Internet Research This article is about using the Internet for research; for the field of research about the Internet, see Internet studies.

Internet research is the practice of using the Internet, especially the World Wide Web, for research.
 Databases Sufficient for Research?

A. The Internet is a great resource for researching your cases. Most databases even provide access to the entire article. You can access the majority of medical information you may require to research and review a case without ever having to go to a library.

In addition to an Internet database search, I recommend that you use other resources such as authoritative texts, standards of care Standards of care are medical or psychological treatment guidelines, and can be general or specific. They specify appropriate treatment protocols based on scientific evidence, and collaboration between medical and/or psychological professionals involved in the treatment of a given  and policies and procedures Policies and Procedures are a set of documents that describe an organization's policies for operation and the procedures necessary to fulfill the policies. They are often initiated because of some external requirement, such as environmental compliance or other governmental  as discussed in the module "Standards of Care" in the Core Curriculum for Legal Nurse Consulting[R] textbook and the CLNC CLNC Certified Legal Nurse Consultant
