Solar Energy Index (TICKER: SOLRX) will add seven new components, effective 6:00 PM (ET) Sunday, June 11. These additions raise the number of constituents in the index to 34. These changes result from the index's quarterly rebalancing. Many of the new components qualified for the index based on share price appreciation or Initial Public Offerings, which allowed them to pass the minimum market capitalization selection criteria. The Ardour Solar Energy Index is a modified capitalization-weighted, float-adjusted index of the most prominent solar energy stocks in the world. Two of the seven additions are listed in the Americas and five in Europe. To be included in the SOLRX index stocks must pass multiple screens, including for capitalization, float, exchange listing, share price and turnover.
