Arctic Cat Unveils First Millennium Snowmobiles.

) announced today the unveiling of two limited millennium edition snowmobile snowmobile, vehicle designed to travel over snow, ice, and similar surfaces that offer limited traction and weight-supporting capability. As the performance of the vehicle depends to a large extent on keeping its weight as low as possible, there is no enclosure for  models: the ZR 600 2K and Powder Special 600 2K, which are the first Year 2000 models released by any snowmobile manufacturer.

The millennium edition ZR 600 2K and Powder Special 600 2K models sport power and ride enhancements, plus the industry's first use of a new, state-of-the-art paint technology that "moves." Movement and changing light causes the Arctic Cat-exclusive hood color, Millennium Thunder Flair, to shift from emerald green to a brilliant purple, with copper, gold and champagne tones in between.

A commemorative emblem on the dash of each model proudly displays the sled's limited edition serial number.
