Magazine gave the MRP system its "2003 Product Innovation Award" and ATV Rider Magazine named the MRP a "2003 Best of Category" for the Multi-Task ATV segment. The MRP system allows users to quickly customize their ATVs with a wide variety of accessories for construction, camping and fishing, among other activities.

"Our MRP has enjoyed rave reviews ever since we first introduced the concept last year," said Christopher A. Twomey, chairman and chief executive officer of Arctic Cat. "We're proud that the MRP has earned so many top honors."

The patented design of the MRP's front and rear cargo racks accept special "slide in" attachments that securely hold specialized accessories and gear. Each MRP accessory attachment can be affixed af·fix

or removed in seconds with simple retaining pins, enabling users to customize the ATV to fit their needs and maximize the large load capacities of the ATV's front and rear racks.

On current 2004 model MRPs, Arctic Cat expanded the number of available attachments to more than 40, introducing nine customized accessory packages for specific applications, including construction, ranching, fishing, camping, landscaping and hunting. Arctic Cat also introduced "Rapid" shelters on select MRP accessory packages. These tent-like shelters attach to the MRP's front and rear racks and can be quickly deployed, comfortably enclosing the ATV and up to two people. Two popular Rapid MRP packages include the Rapid Shack(TM), which can quickly create a fishing shelter for ice fishing, as well as the Rapid Blind(TM), a hunting blind for big game or waterfowl waterfowl, common term for members of the order Anseriformes, wild, aquatic, typically freshwater birds including ducks, geese, and screamers. In Great Britain the term is also used to designate species kept for ornamental purposes on private lakes or ponds, while in  applications.

"This year, we further enhanced the MRP's versatility by becoming the first ATV manufacturer to offer optional integrated shelters," Twomey said.
