ZyWAN's technology provides real-time access to any Ethernet, 802.11 or serial device for both mobile and fixed-data applications. Settings can be changed and managed quickly and easily with the ZyWAN GUI (Graphical User Interface) A graphics-based user interface that incorporates movable windows, icons and a mouse. The ability to resize application windows and change style and size of fonts are the significant advantages of a GUI vs. a character-based interface. , a simple tool that allows the user to make changes locally or over the air. One major fruit producer is already using the ZyWAN to trace products from the farm to the supermarket, monitoring everything from location to temperature and humidity.
