In addition, ArC supports open, standard interfaces, thus appearing to applications or users as a file system, which many users are typically accustomed to working with. In addition, ArC can store content in standard formats as well, such as XML XML

With the most recent release, ArC now delivers even greater levels of data ingestion and access performance, as well as integrated search and indexing capabilities. ArC enables critical file contents search, which competing products do not provide. This can provide important cost and time savings if, for example, a company is in a legal discovery process or if a doctor is attempting to recall a patient's medical history.
