Identified as one of The New York Five, Graves has achieved his greatest fame with his designs for domestic & Associates unveiled its entire multi-phase architectural plan for the Miele U.S. Headquarters and Design Showroom at the opening ceremony for the completed second phase of the plan, a 23,000-SF expansion. Graves was commissioned by Miele, the world's largest family-owned and operated appliance company offering a diverse range of products for discerning dis·cern·ing adj. facility and was chosen to design the expansion to maintain the visual
landscape of the 12.64-acre corporate campus. The long-term plan calls
for at least two more phases, with work expected to begin within the
next five years.
The Miele headquarters is an impressive icon of contemporary architecture comprising approximately 54,400 SF, including the original 31,400-SF building, which opened only three years ago.
