Florio announced today that Thomas Losee, Publisher of Architectural Digest Architectural Digest is a glossy American monthly magazine. Its principle subject is interior design, not -- as the name of the magazine might suggest -- architecture more generally. The magazine is published by Condé Nast Publications and was founded in 1920 [1]. , would be retiring from the company in March. No successor has yet been named. Losee was named to this position in 1984 when its was part of Knapp Communications. Conde Nast purchased Architectural Digest in 1993. Before that he was for many years at Hearst Magazines holding a variety of distinguished positions including three years as Publisher of Harper's Bazaar Harper’s Bazaar leading fashion magazine. [Am. Both have continued and even amplified the excellence that has always been a hallmark of Architectural Digest. So it is not without regret that we accept Tom Losee's decision to retire this Spring.
