Architects renew and expand at Springler Building.


Rockwell Group, an award-winning, cross-disciplinary architecture and design practice, has renewed and expanded its lease at 5-9 Union Square West.

The firm, which specializes in cultural, healthcare, hospitality, theater and film design, has grown to 40,000 s/f--nearly 40 percent--of the eight-story, Union Square building owned by Newmark Holdings and managed by Newmark Knight Frank.

Eric Gural, executive managing director at Newmark Knight Frank in Manhattan, stated, "It says a lot about the quality of a building when an architecture firm of this magnitude chooses to stay."
